【Healthy gut recipe】Postbiotic Mango Lassi

Today, we have an exciting and refreshing recipe for you: a Postbiotic Mango Lassi. 

Lassi is a traditional yogurt-based drink that originates from India. It is a popular beverage, especially in the northern regions of the country, and is enjoyed for its refreshing and cooling properties. There are two main types of lassi: sweet and salty.

 

Sweet Lassi

This version is typically made by blending yogurt with water or milk, sugar, and sometimes fruits like mango, strawberries, or bananas. It's often flavored with cardamom, rose water, or saffron.

Salty Lassi

Today we are making sweet lassi. For this recipe, we will need just a few simple ingredients. Mango, plain yogurt, almond milk, and R's KOSO.


Mango

Mangoes are not only sweet and delicious but also fantastic for your gut health. They contain prebiotic fibers that feed the good bacteria in your gut, promoting a healthy digestive system. This Japanese fermented drink is rich in postbiotics, which are bioactive compounds that support gut health by enhancing the growth of beneficial bacteria and reducing inflammation. 

 

Recipe 

Ingredients (2 servings)

Frozen mango 1/2 cup

Plain yogurt 1/2 cup

Almond milk 1/3 cup

R’s KOSO 1 tablespoon

 

Instructions

1. Blend everything together until smooth and creamy.
