Dr. Ohhira probiotics is a well-known probiotic supplement in North America. There are many similarities between Dr. Ohhira and R’s KOSO. They are both fermented in Japan, which has a long history of practicing fermentation. Many professionals. They both continue traditional fermentation techniques and undergo fermentation for at least one year. Furthermore, they use organic/locally sourced whole fruits, vegetables, plants, mushrooms, seaweed as their fermentation base. They are sources of prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics. 

Prebiotics are fiber that probiotic microorganisms ferment in order to thrive and survive, producing beneficial by-products. Probiotics are beneficial microorganisms (bacteria, yeast, and fungi) that survive on every surface of our body, in our gut, on our skin. They form communities and compete against pathogenic, harmful microorganisms. Both Dr. Ohhira and R’s KOSO can be consumed on a daily basis. However, R’s KOSO is also used specifically for cleanses and intermittent fasting protocols. Dr. Ohhira’s probiotics contain postbiotics such as: “short-chain fatty acids, organic acids, polyphenols, melanoidin (antioxidant) and a trace amount of chelated minerals, vitamins, and amino acids.”

Liquid-based probiotics has significant advantages for enhancing the digestive, immune, cognitive, cardiovascular benefits.
