【Immune supporting recipe】Crunchy postbiotics Carrot Salad

Supporting your gut health is crucial in order to keep your immune system functioning properly.

Your gut is a highway with lots of pathogens and microbes passing through every single day. 70~80% of the immune system is located in the gut and works hard to protect your body from outside invaders. 

If your digestive system has a healthy intestinal mucosal lining and great stomach acidity then it is able to neutralize and keep out a lot of harmful bacteria.

R's KOSO contains nutrients that support gut health such as probiotics, prebiotics, postbiotics, polyphenols, and acetic acid.

Vitamin A also has an important role in enhancing immune function. Half a cup of carrots contains more than half amount of your daily requirement of vitamin A. 

Combining foods that support your gut health such as R's KOSO and vitamin A-rich foods like carrots helps support the immune system.  




Carrot 100g (1 medium)

R's KOSO 1 tablespoon

Bonito flakes 2~3 tablespoons (Option: use fried garlic instead)

Sea salt 1/4 teaspoon

Roasted sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon

Roasted sesame seeds 1 teaspoon



Combine everything. Add more sea salt if you need.
