Hi, I’m Lisa C. 🤍
Before I started R’s KOSO, my autoimmune condition was affecting my day-to-day life in ways that made me feel like I couldn’t fully relax. I wanted something simple—something I could take consistently without stress. Since I live with ulcerative colitis, I’m extra mindful about what I choose. I didn’t want anything harsh or complicated—just gentle support that fits real life.

How It Became My Gentle Morning Ritual
In 2023, my acupuncturist, Dr. Masa, recommended R’s KOSO. I still remember thinking: “Okay… let’s try something that feels grounded and straightforward.”
From the beginning, I loved how easy it was to fit into my routine. Now I take R’s KOSO every morning before breakfast. Since day one, I’ve enjoyed the taste, and what surprises me most is how naturally it became part of my life—like a small ritual I don’t want to skip.
Because I’m careful about what I put into my body, I also needed something that wouldn’t feel harsh. For me, R’s KOSO feels very gentle. I also appreciate that it’s made with 100+ veggies & fruits, then fermented—so it feels supportive in a way that makes sense for my body.
What I’m most grateful for is what happened when R’s KOSO and acupuncture were working together. Over time, I felt more steady, and I began to regain my daily rhythm—without having to worry about every little thing. I also reduced my acupuncture visits—from 2-3 times weekly to about once a month. That was a huge quality-of-life win. After a while, I felt like I could truly enjoy my life day to day again. :)

One more part of my routine that matters a lot to me is travel. I travel about twice a year, usually for two weeks at a time, and a lot of my trips include long stays (sometimes across China).
1)The Trial Set is always my Travel-Essentials
They’re great at home, but when you’re moving around, the weight can make things harder. And with hotel refrigeration constraints, having the right format really matters. That’s exactly why trial bottles are so important for me while traveling—they help me stay consistent even when my schedule changes.
2) That’s also why I started trying a cleanse.
When I’m in China and eating lots of meals out, my gut doesn’t always feel so comfortable afterward. After a couple weeks of intensive Chinese cuisine, when I got back to New York, I decided to try a three-day cleanse. I was honestly a little nervous—but it ended up being surprisingly comfortable: no hunger, dizziness, or nausea.
Next time, I’m planning to try four days, especially because I noticed something important: I didn’t fall into the usual feeling of needing caffeine immediately in the morning. My energy felt more stable, and my mornings became calmer—and that made a real difference for me.
A Practical Routine That Fits Real Life
Overall, R’s KOSO has helped me in a way that feels practical and sustainable—not something I tried for a week and then forgot. It’s become a gentle daily partner that helps support my routine and my wellbeing.
If you’re dealing with gut-related irritation that affects your daily life—or if you simply want more steady energy and clarity in the morning—we hope Lisa’s experience can give you confidence to start a gentle routine that feels realistic.
And thank you, Lisa, for sharing your story—your real experience and honest journey are truly inspiring.❤︎
