【RECIPE】R’s KOSO Lower Sugar Postbiotic Yogurt Bark

Serotonin is one of the key chemicals for relaxation. When serotonin is at normal levels, you are more focused, relaxed, and happier. 

About 90% of serotonin is made in the gut and stays in the gut. So gut health is very important to keep serotonin levels normal and keep our body and mind relaxed.

The yogurt bark we are going to make today contains lots of nutrients that support gut health. 

As you probably already know, R's KOSO contains probiotics, prebiotics, postbiotics, and polyphenols to support our gut health. 

Yogurt is a great source of probiotics as well as protein. I'm going to use strawberries and blueberries. They are high in polyphenols and fiber which are important to keep our gut healthy.

This is a great snack to have at night as it's not too heavy and helps relax our body and mind. Try making this this week and keep it in the freezer. So you can have it anytime.

I'm using regular yogurt today, but you can use plant-based yogurt if you like. Keep in mind that plant-based yogurt often contains more fat and less protein. Some plant-based yogurt contains additives you don't want to consume. I recommend you check the label and find something that is simple.

 

【RECIPE】

Ingredients (Serve 2~3)

R's KOSO Lower Sugar   2 teaspoons (You can substitute it for 1 tablespoon of R's KOSO original)

Plain yogurt 1/2 cup

Fresh or frozen berries 1/2 cup

Peanut butter 1~2 teaspoon

 

Instructions

1. Combine 1/2 cup of yogurt and 2 teaspoons of R's KOSO lower sugar (1 tablespoon of R's KOSO original)

2. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly onto the wax paper

3. Add peanut butter or nut butter of your choice

4. Add any fruits you like and as much as you want

5. Freeze the bark for a couple of hours until hardened

6. Cut into pieces and enjoy! 

 

You can store up to 1 month.
